Amazing restaurant, went for lunch. Small building maybe 6 tables inside but the food is worth it. Tried jambalaya, fried shrimp (the best). Boudan balls, boudan egg rolls, sausage chicken gumbo, red beans and rice, potatosalad, shrimp po boy. The staff is wonderful! If you are near, it is worth the trip. Great pricing. Give these kind folks a try.

We stopped in for a late lunch early dinner and apparently it was shift change so service was a little bit slow but then again we weren't in a hurry. We took a seat outside overlooking to bayou and enjoyed a couple margaritas. I got the fried sampler plate was loaded with food and a good value at 22. My wife had the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and it was marvelous. Looking forward to trying them again next time we're in Louisiana

Delicious food with a punch of flavor, southern hospitality, and not the big commercial restaurant. Definitely a great place! Staff is tentative and excellent customer service. This is a must if you’re in the area!

Man, that food was somethin’ else! From the catfish to the jambalaya to the gumbo—every bite was packed with flavor. Didn’t even need hot sauce for the catfish, and that’s sayin’ somethin’! No doubt, I’ll be back for more.

What a find! 4.7 on Google, we had to check it out. Small place with only 6 tables. Greeted immediately by Rayleigh who became our new best friend and gave us a tour through the menu. Absolutely cannot say enough good things about the food. Fresh, hot and delicious. This is all coming from a boy raised in New Orleans. Catfish poboy, red beans and rice, chicken gumbo, boudin eggrolls and the best white chocolate bread pudding I have ever had. They serve bread with the gumbo and it is deep fried French bread. OMG, I need a nap! Thanks Rayleigh, we will be back!

Small spot, but everything is delicious. The service was really great. I got there about 30 minutes before they closed (my bad) but they were very friendly. The girl working there was working hard and she did a great job. I got the sampler, it was great. The etouffe had a nice subtle spice and was loaded with tails. The gumbo was the best I've had that didn't come from someone's grandma. The jambalaya was light and flavorful. The red beans were not what I expected. Theyre almost BBQ red beans, they're a little sweet. Overall, great spot.

Wow-just Wow!!! Stopped here on the way to the beach and ended up having the best meal of our trip! Catfish, gumbo, and fried chicken salad are so good, but the highlights are definitely the beignets, and bread puddings with mini beignets! I’d say they are the best beignets that I have outside of New Orleans. The dough texture is right on the spot, and the beignets were still warm a when they were served. You must try them!
